• Member of Stord Turning Club • Coached gymnastics (turning) at Luther for 40 years, starting in 1924
• His Luther teams won the Northwest Meet - Class C titles in 1929, 1931 and 1937 and finished second in 1956
• Honored by the NCAA with a memorial resolution for distinguished service to athletics - 1971
