Luther College

Earned letters in football and track and field. Established school records in 120-yard high hurdles and 220-yard low hurdles. Member of record setting half-mile and mile-relay teams. Coached 12 Iowa state championship cross country teams. Elected to Iowa Track and Field Hall of Fame in 1973. Received Coaches Achievement Award from Iowa High School Athletic Association in 1968.
