Hall of Fame
• Three-year letter winner in basketball
• Named to Associated Press All-Iowa Conference basketball team as a junior and senior
• Played four years as a member of the tennis team and three on the football team
• Served as an officer at the U. S. Navy Pre-Flight School at the University of Georgia - 1947-48
• Served as an officer and coach of the Iowa Seahawks Pre-Flight Basketball team in Iowa City and Ottumwa - 1945-47
• From1948 until his retirement in 1973 he was the Coordinator of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Services for services of Veterans Administration facilities in Knoxville, Iowa, New York, and Danville, Ill.
