Game Day Policies

Home Events Policies

Groups or organizations that are interested in participating in a home athletic event must email Adam CarpenterĀ at adam.carpenter@luther.edu, Associate Athletic Director, a minimum of two days prior to the event to be considered. This includes pregame, halftime, and postgame performances or public address announcements. Direct solicitation to spectators at the event is strictly prohibited.

Carlson Stadium Pets Policy

No pets are allowed within the ticketed area at Carlson Stadium. Emotional Support Animal and Pet PolicyĀ 

Tobacco Free Campus

Luther is a tobacco free campus. Use of any type of tobacco product is prohibited.

Tailgating PolicyĀ 

Luther College values its students, employees, alumni, guests of the college and is committed to maintaining a healthy environment, providing safe experiences, and ensuring an environment free from alcohol abuse and illegal chemical use. We take great pride and responsibility in hosting events that are welcoming and safe to all involved.

Ā· Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Tailgate hours will be strictly enforced beginning three hours prior to game time and be open up until the start of the contest. Alcoholic beverages are strictly prohibited during the game and all spectators will be asked to enter the venue at the start of the contest or leave the area. All tailgating areas must be cleared one hour following the completion of the contest.

Ā· Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Consumption of alcoholic beverages during tailgating will only be permitted for athletic events in which a designated tailgate area is assigned. Alcohol shall be stored in vehicles during time of game.

Ā· Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Alcohol is strictly prohibited inside the Regents Center facility.

Ā· Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Alcoholic beverages must be consumed in the designated areas only. Those leaving the designated areas with alcohol will be asked to leave the property and will be subject to arrest if applicable.

Ā· Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Alcoholic beverages must be in aluminum or non-glass containers.

Ā· Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Under no circumstances shall persons under the age of 21 have possession or consume alcohol. The college reserves the right to check identification and notify the proper authorities for underage drinking.

Ā· Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Driving under the influence is illegal in the state of Iowa. State drinking laws will be enforced in and around the property.

Ā· Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Beer kegs, party balls and glass bottles are prohibited. Drinking games are prohibited Ā The use of devices intended to accelerate the consumption of alcohol is prohibited.

Ā· Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā No outside retail sales of alcohol allowed.

Ā· Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Individuals who interfere with the rights of other people by use of loud and or abusive language and behavior will be asked to leave the event.

Ā· Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Individuals will be responsible for keeping the area clean. Please recycle. Bins will be available in designated areas.

Ā· Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Gas/propane & charcoal grills are permitted. No open flames, fireworks, or fire pit grills allowed.

Ā· Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā This policy will be enforced by Luther security officers and athletics staff. All individuals are subject to legal and College policies.

Ā· Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Designated events and designated areas will be determined by Athletic Administration and posted online a minimum of two weeks in advance of the event
