Luther College

Three-year letter winner in football at right halfback. Called “Busting Bob Bungum” by Chips. Served as team captain. Also earned letters in track and baseball. Served as a volunteer naval officer during World War II. Coached football and track at Luther 1946-1950. Served 24 years at Waldorf College as registrar, football coach, teacher, and athletic director.
