Hall of Fame
Earned 10 letters, four in football and basketball and two in baseball. Played on the 1938 and 1941 championship football teams. Served as captain of the basketball team his senior that was invited to NAIA National Tournament. Named to all-conference team. Served as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Navy, During World War II in the Atlantic and Pacific Theater and in the occupation of Japan - 1942-46. Earned M.Ed. from University of Minnesota, 1950. Coach and athletic director at Moorhead High School (Minn.) - 1947-50, and at St. Paul Harding (Minn.) - 1950-1980.
