Hall of Fame
• Four-year letter winner in football and baseball
• Played center, linebacker, and kicker for football teams
• Played Infielder, clean-up hitter, and served as team captain in baseball
• Returned to Luther after leaving to serve in the U.S. Navy in North Africa, the Persian Gulf and the Pacific Theater during World War II following his freshman year
• Served as high school teacher and coach in Minnesota at Ellendale, Dassel and Hutchinson
• Inducted into the Minnesota State High School Coaches Association 25-year Club - 1981
• Inducted into the Minnesota Wrestling Hall of Fame - 1982.
