• Member of Luther’s first Iowa Conference championship football team - 1932

• At the 1932 Iowa Conference Track Meet he placed first in the 100-yard dash (9.9) equaling the conference record and anchored first place 880-yard relay team breaking the conference record (1:30.6)
• He also set the 220-yard Luther record (21.8) earlier that same year
• M.D. degree from University of Minnesota - 1944
• Served as a surgeon in the 97th Infantry Division, ETO - 1944-46
• In 1975 retired from the practice of medicine at Bloomington Lake Clinic, Minneapolis, Minn..
