Hall of Fame
• Active participant in all sports in the Preparatory Department and college programs
• Tough on defense, excellent rebounder and play maker for the undefeated basketball team his junior year
• Big game during junior year was the 12-11 win over a strong Carleton team
• Upon graduation took charge of the Prep sports program
• Eventually became backfield and line coach for the Luther football team
• Member of the coaching staff for 24 years
• Earned M.A. and PH. D. from University of Michigan
• In 1970, after 52 years on the Luther faculty, he was elected Professor Emeritus
