Luther College

Four-year participant in both football and basketball. First team all-conference in basketball - 1932. All-conference honorable mention in football.  Played on first Luther IIAC championship basketball team - 1932.  Served in the Navy during World War II. Spent 42 years in education including 39 years at Ames High School as a teacher, coach, athletic director, vice principal and guidance counselor.
