Luther College

• Member of the first women’s basketball team at Luther College - 1964
• Also competed in tennis
• Lettered on the boys high school ski team in Ironwood, Mich. - 1960
• Coached Appleton East girls track and field team to a regional championship and fifth-place finish at the Wisconsin State High School Track and Field Meet in the school’s first year
• Volunteer coach for a multitude of youth soccer and basketball teams
• Served as President of Cedar Rapids (Iowa) Swim Club and Y.W.C.A.
