ABOUT LEWIS LECHTENBERG
We will gather to honor the beautiful life and lasting impact of Lewis Lechtenberg — a little boy whose courage and joy changed the Luther baseball family forever. What began with a first pitch in 2019 grew into something much bigger. Lewis became part of Luther College Baseball, running bases, riding the drag mower, joining huddles, traveling with the team, and filling the dugout with laughter in his Luther jersey and cowboy boots. His everlasting motto "Be Brave. Be Strong. Be Happy" continues to thrive within the team. a statue will be unveiled at the field in his honor before Game 2, followed by a ceremonial first pitch. Lewis' light continues to shine brightly here. This day is about gratitude, remembrance, and celebrating a life that made all of us better.
