The Luther College baseball team and St. Olaf College closed out their four-game series with a twin bill at West Liberty High School, Iowa. The Oles won game one 15-2 and the Norse won the nightcap 5-3.
In game one, St. Olaf tallied 15 runs on 17 hits. Luther's two runs came in the top of the fifth thanks to a two-run home run by
Noah Kindem, his fourth of the year.

In game two, the Norse tallied 11 hits and scored twice in the third and fourth frames and once in the fifth.

Zach Gwost,
Tyrus Werner and
Xavier Millan all drove in one run. Millan led off the third with a lead-off home run. Kindem and
Hayden Torgerson both had a multiple hit game.
Nolan Klocke was credited with his first win of the year. He allowed two runs on four hits, walked four and struck out five.
CJ Boudreaux struck out five in three scoreless innings and earned his second save of the year.

With today's split, the Norse won the four game series 3-1 and improved to 6-4 overall. Luther is schedule to face Concordia-Moorhead (Minn.), for a four-game series Saturday and Sunday, March 14-15 at Independence High School, Iowa. Saturday's first pitch is scheduled for 1 p.m.
