2025 A-R-C Volleyball Coaches’ Preseason Revealed

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – The American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) announced the 2025 Volleyball Coaches' Preseason poll on Thursday. The Luther volleyball team was picked ninth.

The 2025 season will be the first for interim head coach Arturo Diaz. He served as the assistant coach the last three seasons. Joining his staff is Talia Grier who is in her first season as an assistant coach.

"We are excited to start the 2025 season both in the A-R-C and for our non-conference schedule, "said Diaz. "We have a lot of great leaders and motivated returners coming back to our program, complementing a strong incoming class for the 2025 season. We are excited to compete against great teams this upcoming season." 

The Norse will begin the season on the road at the College of St. Benedict Volleyball Tournament Aug. 29-30 in St. Joseph, Minn. Over the two-day tournament they will play Crown College, Concordia College (MN), the College of St. Benedict and the University of Minnesota Morris.

The first home contest will be on Tuesday, Sept. 30 for the A-R-C home opener against Coe College at 6 p.m. at Decorah High School.
