Women's Swimming and Diving Finishes Second at A-R-C Championships

The 2026 American Rivers Conference Swimming and Diving Championships are in the books. Nebraska Wesleyan University won the team title, snapping a string of three consecutive championships by the Norse (2023, 2024, 2025). The Prairie Wolves posted 662 points and the Norse were second with 597. All conference honors were presented to the top-three place finishers in each event.

During the four days of competition, the Norse earned a combined 25 all-conference honors that included 10 conference meet championships. They set five meet records, posted 15 program top10 marks, one pool record, and Cassie Rounds tied the school record in the 100 butterfly (56.42).

Mia Prater was named the Women's Swimmer of the Meet. She was apart of seven all-conference performances and was crowned a meet champion in the 800 freestyle relay, 100 backstroke, 50 freestyle and 100 freestyle for the third consecutive year, and the 400 medley relay. The 800 freestyle relay and 400 medley relay set meet records.

Noelle Galluccie was named the Women's Diver of the Meet after winning both the one meter and three meter events. She posted NCAA III qualifying marks in both events and will be competing at the NCAA III Regional Championships, Feb. 27-28 in Atlanta, Georgia.

Annemarie Johnson was named the Women's Rookie of the Year. Johnson was apart of seven all-conference performances that included meet titles in the 800 freestyle relay, 200 freestyle relay, 500 freestyle, and the 400 medley relay.

This was the final time the Norse will compete in the A-R-C Championships. Next year, Luther will be the newest member of the Midwest Conference. The A-R-C Championships were first officially recognized by the league in 2023. Since that time, Luther was crowned champions in 2023, 2024 and 2025.
