DECORAH, Iowa – Mia Prater will return to the NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving National Championship for the second time in her career. This year's championship will take place at the IU Natatorium on the campus of the Indiana University on March 18-21 in Indianapolis, Ind.
She returns to the NCAA National Championship for the first time since 2024. Prater went on to earn honorable mention all-American honors in the 50 freestyle when she finished 12
th with a time of 23.31.
On Wednesday, March 18 she will compete in the 50 freestyle. Her best time this season in the 50 free was 23.35 at the Luther Invitational on Saturday, Nov. 22, 2025.
At this year's American Rivers Conference Championship she was named the swimmer of the meet. She was a part of seven all-conference performances and was crowned a meet champion in the 800 freestyle relay, 100 backstroke, 50 freestyle, 100 freestyle and 400 medley relay. For the third consecutive year she was the conference champion in the 50 freestyle and 100 freestyle.
