Four Norse have qualified for the NCAA Division III National Wrestling Champinships that will take place March 14-15 at the Amica Mutual Pavilion, located in Providence, Rhode Island.

Connor Kidd (133) and Ben Strehlow (197) will be making their first career appearance at the national finale, while Walter West (285) will be making his second and Clayton McDonough (157) will be making his third.

As a team, nine Norse placed at the NCAA III Region VI Tournament that led to a fourth place finish from the 16-team field. Luther tallied (118) points. Wartburg won the team title with (169), followed by Loras (162.5), and Coe (141).

West entered the region tournament ranked No. 4 in the nation and claimed his first region title. He defeated Austin Cooley of Schreiner University (Texas) 9-6 in the championship match. West was a 2024 All-American who placed seventh.

Kidd finished his tournament with a runner-up finish, while both No. 7 McDonough and Strehlow placed third. McDonough will be attempting to secure his second consecutive All-American honor after placing fourth at last year's championship.
