WEST SALEM, Wis. - The Luther men's cross country team finished 10th at the Jim Drews Invitational hosted by the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse on Saturday.
Christian Montover was the first Norse athlete to cross the finish line in 62nd place with a time of 26:47.6 in the 8k event.
Behind Montover was
Jack Bode (66th - 44pts - 26:55.9),
Benjamin Gillikin (76th - 51 pts - 27:12.3),
Kurt Lebakken (87th - 58pts - 27:26.2), and
Reid Binsfeld (92nd - 61pts - 27:32.8).
Rounding the top-seven was
Jordan Melendez (119th - 28:08.6) and
Sorley Swanstrom-Arnold (124th - 28:15.1).
Bode and Binsfeld set new personal bests.
UP NEXT
The Norse will host UW-La Crosse for the annual dual between the two programs. The race begins at 5:15 p.m. on the cross country course.
