CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The Luther men's cross country team finished sixth at the American Rivers Conference Championship at the Seminole Valley Cross Country course 8k event. The Norse were led by
Michel Heinrich who finished 32nd with a time of 25:37.2.
Wartburg won the league title with 15 points. Loras took second with 62 followed by the University of Dubuque with 112. Luther tallied 161 to finish sixth.
In the scoring five was Henirich in 32nd (21 pts - 25:37.2),
Christian Montover (37th - 24 pts - 25:44.3),
Benjamin Gillikin (59th - 34 pts - 26:15.2),
Jack Bode (71st - 39 pts - 26:33.8), and
Jacob Bruns (78th - 43 pts - 26:37.9).
Rounding out the top-seven was
Reid Binsfeld (106th - 27:13.2) and
Philip Dahlen (112th - 27:23.3).
Setting personal bests were Heinrich, Montover, Bode, Bruns, Binsfeld, and Dahlen.

The next varsity race for the Norse will be the NCAA III Midwest Regional that will be on Saturday, Nov. 16 in Rock Island, Ill.
The Norse will host the Saga Cup on Friday, Nov. 8 at 4 p.m.
