Luther improved to 13-10 in the American Rivers Conference and won its third game in a row after defeating Loras 9-4 in today's nightcap. The Norse pounded out 15 hits and scored in every frame en route to the victory.
Sydney Schultz drove in three runs with a 3-for-5 effort at the plate. Schultz drove in a run in the first with a double to left-center field and had rbi singles in both the second and fifth innings.

Anna Dietrich all drove in one run. Skeie hit a solo shot in the fourth. Farari and Dietrich both had pinch hit rbi's in the sixth. Forari hit a single and Dietrich hit a double off the left-center field fence.
Sam Thompson (10-3) was credited with the win. Thompson pitched five innings, allowed four runs on seven hits, walked one and struck out three.
Kendra Cooper picked up her first save of the season. Cooper pitched out of a basses loaded jam in the sixth, striking out Hadie Anderson and retired the Duhawks in order in the seventh.
These two teams will wrap up this final regular season three-game series on Saturday, May 8. Start time is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. in Decorah.
