Biography

2023: As a senior, Schultz returned to her All-America form, starting 42 games as Luther's second baseman. Schultz hit .318 during the season, wracking up 42 hits in 132 at bats and scored 24 runs for the Norse. She opened the season on a five-game hit streak and ranked top-5 on the team in eight different categories at the conclusion of the regular season. Schultz ranked top-5 in batting average (.318), slugging (.409), OBP (.387), runs scored (24), hits (42), total bases (54) and walks (15) and led the team in sacrifice flies. Thanks to her nine doubles as a senior, Schultz closed her career with 37 total, which ranks seventh all-time in Luther softball history.

2022: As a junior, Schultz followed up her All-American season by starting all 35 games as Luther's third baseman. She hit .319 on the year with 38 hits in 119 at bats and recorded five doubles, one triple, three home runs and 19 RBI. Schultz led the team in total bases (54) and runs scored (27) and ranked top-5 in batting average (.319), hits (38), home runs (3) and slugging (.454) at the conclusion of the season. In the field, Schultz tallied 67 assists and 41 put outs in 114 chances and turned four double plays. Prior to the season, Schultz was listed on the NFCA's Top-50 Players to Watch for the NFCA"s National Player of the Year honor. 

2021: Schultz put together a breakout year in 2021, as she earned First Team All-Conference, NFCA First Team All-Region and NFCA Second Team All-America honors for her play with the Norse. As the team's starting third baseman, Schultz led the team in nine statistical categories, including batting average (.433), at-bats (150), hits (65), runs scored (42), hit by pitch (5), doubles (20), RBI (39), total bases (97) and slugging (.647). She additionally broke the program record for single-season doubles and posted a fielding percentage of .962 during the season. As a sophomore, Schultz appeared in all 45 games with 44 starts, hitting .433 with 65 hits in 150 at bats. She recorded 20 doubles, four home runs, 32 runs, 39 RBI and 97 total bases and concluded the season with 10 stolen bases in 11 attempts. 

2020: Schultz appeared in seven games with seven starts prior to the season being canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In seven games, Schultz hit .318 with seven hits in 22 at bats. Of her seven hits, three were doubles, and she ranked third on the team with five RBI. 

High School: While at Waterloo Columbus Catholic High School, Schultz was a multi-year letter winning in four sports and earned All-Conference and All-Mentro honors in softball, volleyball, basketball and soccer. She was named All-State in both softball and soccer, and helped the Sailors to their first ever appeared in the Iowa State Tournament. Schultz additionally won a state championship with the school's volleyball team and was a member of the state runner up team in 2016.
