2023: Thompson continued to serve as Luther's game two starter, as she appeared in 16 games with nine starts for the Norse. She posted a 7-1 record and 2.64 ERA during the regular season, surrendering just 29 runs, 21 earned, in 55.2 innings of work. Thompson additionally closed the season with 25 strikeouts and pitched two complete games.

2022: As a junior, Thompson appeared in 19 games with 16 starts in the circle for Luther. She led the team with a 2.09 ERA, surrendering just 41 runs, only 29 earned, in 87.0 innings of work. Thompson also closed the season with 35 strikeouts, including a season high six against Macalester on February 26, and closed the season with a 12-6 record. Thompson additionally pitched eight complete games in 2022 and four shutouts, which included wins over MIT, Benedictine, Allegheny and UW-Stout.

2021: As a sophomore, Thompson earned Second Team All-Conference honors after serving primarily as the game two starter in the circle. She appeared in 21 games for the Norse and posted a record of 10-4 with a 2.91 ERA. Thompson pitched six complete games and three shutouts and also played a role in three combined shutouts. In 89 innings pitched, Thompson tallied 40 strikeouts and surrendered just 37 unearned runs in 89.0 innings pitched. 

2020: In the COVID shortened season, Thompson appeared in three games as a relief pitcher for Luther as pitched five innings. She gave up three hits and two runs and tallied three strikeouts. 

High School: While at West Salem High School, Thompson was a four time letter winner in volleyball and a two time letter winning in volleyball. She led the Panthers to two conference championships in softball and one region title. As an individual, Thompson was a two-time First Team All-Conference honoree and was also voted Team MVP and First Team All-Tribune twice. She was also named academic all-state and was member of the National Honor Society.
