Luther College Travels to Whitewater, Wisconsin for NCAA III Baseball Regional Tournament - Tournament Webpage

The NCAA Division III Baseball Committee has announced the 48 teams that will compete in the 2021 NCAA III Baseball Championship.
 
Six teams will compete in eight regional sites. All regionals will use a double-elimination format. Winners of the eight regional tournaments will qualify for the pool play double-elimination championship at Perfect Game Field at Veterans Memorial Stadium in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Friday-Tuesday/Wednesday, June 4-8/9 hosted by the American Rivers Conference.
 
Luther College (31-14) won the American Rivers Conference Tournament, defeating Coe College 4-2 in the championship game on Sunday, May 23, earning the league's automatic berth to the national tournament. The Norse will travel to the Whitewater, Wisconsin Regional hosted by UW-Whitewater, May 27-30. All games will be played at Prucha Field at James B. Miller Stadium.
 
Luther begins play on Thursday, May 27 against UW-Whitewater (37-5) at 2:30 p.m.
 
The other four teams in the regional are Adrian College (32-7) from the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association; Salem State University (13-9) from the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference; Texas Lutheran University (28-12) from the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference; and Penn State Harrisburg (28-7) from the North Eastern Athletic Conference.
 
Luther will be making its sixth appearance in the national tournament (1983, 1984, 1985, 2007, 2016, 2021) and second under the direction of Head Coach Bryan Nikkel (2016, 2021).
