Box Score Following a nearly two hour rain delay, Luther and Wartburg were able to play game three of this four-game series. Luther scored twice in both the sixth and seventh innings and defeated the Knights 9-7.

Luther held a 5-4 lead after 3 1/2 innings. Wartburg tied the game with a run in the bottom of the fourth. Neither team managed a run in the fifth. In the sixth, Luther scored twice after Noah Sebben led-off with a double to left field. Kyle Schnobrich, who finished the game 3-for-5 with two rbi, drove in Sebben on a infield hit to third base. After stealing second and advancing to third on a Wartburg error, Schnobrich scored on a wild pitch.

In the seventh, Peyton Lindmark and Luke Plunkett both reach and advanced to second and third on a double steal. Seben drove both in with a single that completed the Norse scoring.

Carter Bratland (2-0) was credited with the win in relief. Bratland took over for Nick Defoe who went four full innings and allowed five runs on four hits. Bratland allowed two runs in the bottom of the seventh, walked one and struck out two.

The win gives Luther an A-R-C record of 16-3, 21-7 overall. Wartburg fell to 10-13 in league play, 12-17 overall.
