Luther secured a sweep of UW-Stout posting a 9-5 victory in game two of this non-conference twin bill. The Norse continued to swing hot bats producing 11 hits and scoring two runs in the first, three in the second and four in the fifth.
Sydney Schultz drove in four runs. She drove in a run in the first, two in the second and one in the fifth.
Belle Berg started the four-run fifth with a solo shot over the left-field fence.

Sam Thompson (3-0) picked up the win allowing four runs on seven hits in four innings of work. Abbey Gapinksi followed and allowed one run on two hits in two innings of work, while
Kendra Cooper struck out two of the three batters she faced in the top of the seventh.
Today's sweep gives Luther an overall record of 11-3. UW-Stout fell to 2-6.
The Norse will return action tomorrow and will host UW-Eau Claire at 2:00 p.m.
