Luther scored in every inning but two en route to an 8-3 victory over UW-Eau Claire in game one of this non-conference double header. The Norse tallied 10 hits and scored twice in both the first and second frames, added three in the fourth and one in the fifth.

Sydney Schultz and Morgan Hogenson led the offensive attack driving in three and two runs respectively. Schultz was 2-for-4, driving in a run on a single in the first, and drove in her final two runs with a blast over the left field fence in the third. Hogenson double to left field in the fourth the scored two runs.

Lead-off batter Katie Brennan and Belle Berg who was batting in the fifth slot were both 2-for-3 with an RBI.

Kendra Cooper spread nine hits, allowed three runs, walked two and struck out eight en route to her eighth win of the year against no losses.
