ROCK ISLAND, Ill. – At the Augustana Twilight Qualifier hosted by Augustana (IL) Jacob Bruns broke a 39-year-old school record in the 3000-meter steeplechase. His time of 9:05.57 beats the previous record of 9:07.25 set by Paul Bunnell in 1987. Bruns finished second overall.
 
Also at the meet was Michel Heinrich finished eighth in the 1500 with a time of 3:51.31. That time is good for third all-time in program history.
 
Kurt Lebakken finished 16^th in the 3000-meter steeplechase with a time of 9:45.67.
