LA CROSSE, Wis. - Luther men's track and field sophomore Jacob Bruns raced at NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championship in the 3000-meter steeplechase. He clocked a time of 9:20.29 in prelims. Although he did not make it to finals he now owns the school record in the event with a time of 9:05.57 breaking a 39-year old record on May 13. Bruns was also the first Norse to compete at the national championship since 2023.
