DECORAH, Iowa – The Luther men's track and field team captured the meet title winning the Luther Invitational with a team score of 170 points out of six teams. Five Norse athletes won event titles including Ashten Schultz (60m dash), Logan Thompson (1000), Michel Heinrich (1 mile), Jacob Bruns (2000 steeplechase), and Owen Ford (high jump).

Owen Ford set a new school record in the 300 with a time of 36.40 breaking Mike Naslund's record from 1992 (36.53). Also rewriting the history books was Jacob Bruns in the 2000 steeplechase with a time of 6:01.95. His record broke what Nate Canton set in 2002 (6:03.15).
