Nationally ranked No. 13 Luther College wrapped up its regular season schedule with a dominating 44-6 victory over Buena Vista University. Tonight's match took place at Central Springs High School, Manly, Iowa and was a homecoming for Clayton and
Bryce McDonough and
Liam Stockberger. The Norse won eight of the 10 bouts, five by fall, two by major decision and one by forfeit, that produced the bonus points. The victory gives Luther a dual meet record of 12-8, 4-4 in the American Rivers Conference.

Clayton McDonough, a two-time All-American improved to 42-0 for the year with 34 falls. He improved his career record to 146-24 and is three wins away from tying the Luther school record for career wins held by three-time All-American Jeff Freidhoff who sits atop the list with a mark of 149-53.
Kidd, a 2025 All-American improved to 25-3 with 15 falls, improving his career mark to 88-36 with 53 falls. His fall total ranks fourth all-time.
Bryce McDonough is 24-6 with eight falls and improved to 105-34 with 25 falls.

The Norse will return to action on Feb. 27-28 when 10 members of the team will wrestle at the NCAA III Region VI Regional Championship. This year's regional will take place at the Five Flags Center, Dubuque, Iowa. The top-three place finishers in each of the 10 weight classes will earn an automatic berth to the NCAA III National Championships that will be held at Alliant Energy Powerhouse, Cedar Rapids, Iowa March 13-14.
