DECORAH, Iowa - The Luther men's basketball team was defeated by Loras 74-61. The Norse were trailing at the break (34-41) as both teams shot over 45 percent from the floor in the first half. With 14:18 remaining in the contest Javier Rowell trimmed the lead down to four (41-45) with his jump shot inside. However, Loras pushed their lead back up to double-digits holding off Luther. 

Andre Palavra was the leading scorer for the Norse with 16 points and Charlie Wunderlich with 11. Owen Bockenstedt led the team in rebounds with 10.

The Duhawks won the battle of the boards with 41 in the contest. 

Loras is now 13-4 overall and unbeaten in the American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) at 7-0. Luther falls to 6-9 and 1-5 in the conference.
