No. 19 Luther hosted No. 18 Central College for the final home dual meet of the season. The Dutch won six of 10 bouts that included a fall and tech fall en route to the 23-15 final.
Noel Rosales Jr. (125) gave the Norse an early lead defeating Rheiner Stahlbaum in overtime (8-5). Following three consecutive victories by the Dutch, nationally ranked No. 7
Clayton McDonough, faced off against nationally ranked No. 8 Carter Martinson and posted a (6-1) decision. McDonough is 25-5 for the season and 96-24 for his career.
Ben Strehlow (197) and nationally ranked No. 4
Walter West (285) capped off the evening with back-to-back victories. Strehlow defeated Autsin Roos (9-8) earning the winning point due to riding time. West pinned Hayden Hearne (0:57) and improved to 15-1 for the year. He also became the 17th wrestler in Luther history to record 100 career wins. His career total after tonight's fall is 100-24.
