No. 10 Luther traveled to No. 2 Wartburg College for the American Rivers Conference opener for both teams and was defeated by a final of 43-3. The Knights won all but one match that included two by fall and five by tech fall.

No. 6 Bryce McDonough (174) posted the lone victory for the Norse, a (10-3) decision over Mike Slade.

Luther will return to action on Saturday, Dec. 13 when it will travel to Mount Vernon, Iowa for a double dual against Cornell College and UW-Stevens Point. Luther will begin the day against Cornell at 12 p.m.
