The men's golf team wrapped up its fall schedule at the three-round Twin Cities Classic hosted by Gustavus Adolphus College. The three days were played on three different courses starting with the Elk River Golf Club on Saturday, followed by a round at the LeSuer Country Club on Sunday, and finishing at Minnesota Valley Country Club on Monday. There were 16 teams in the field that included B teams from St. John's University, Gustavus Adolphus and Bethel University.
Gustavus Adolphus won the team title shooting 882. Bethel University was second with a 897 and St. John's University was third at 904. Luther shot 940 and placed 14th. Tournament medalist was Ryan Engel of Concordia-Moorhead who shot a one under par (70-74-68-212). He won the tournament by five strokes.
Max Brook led the Norse placing 46th (80-79-75-234) from the field of 80 golfers that played all three rounds. The remainder of the Norse five included
Owen King (T49 - 80-77-79-236),
Pedro Pelicioni (T49 - 81-76-79-236),
Alexander Wold (T58 - 79-78-82-239), and
Garett Sperber (T65 - 81-83-77-241). Peter Rippentrop (T75 - 82-87-81-250) and Ben Christenson (T78th - 87-83-82-252) played as individuals.
