The Luther College men's golf team wrapped up the regular season schedule winning the team title of their own two-day tournament, the Luther Spring Classic. The Norse shot rounds of 311-302 for a 613 and finished seven strokes ahead of runner-up Coe College (620). Loras College and Viterbo University tied for third (630) and the Loras B team was fifth at (671).
The two-day tournament was played at Oneota Golf and Country Club that was a par 72 that measured 6534 yards.Â
The Norse had four players in the top-10.
Owen King finished second from the field of 35 golfers (76-73-149). JJ Kaczynski of Viterbo University was the medalist with a (73-74-147).
Max Brook,
Garett Sperber and
Alexander Wold all finished in a tie for seventh carding a 156.
Pieter Rippentrop completed the Norse five finishing in a tie for 16th at 160.Â
Matthew Zug (165),
Benjamin Christenson (169) and
Ben Leake (175) played as individuals and finished T25th, 31st and 34th respectively.Â

Up next, the 54-hole American Rivers Conference Championships. The three-day tournament will be played at the Glen Oaks Country Club in West Des Moines, Iowa April 26-28. The winner of the tournament will earn the league's automatic bid to the 2026 NCAA III National Championships.Â
