Simpson College hosted one-half of the American Rivers Conference duals this afternoon in Indianola, Iowa. The Norse won three of four matches increasing their overall dual meet record to 11-5, and are now in third place in the league standings with a mark of 3-2.
The Norse defeated No. 9 Loras College 19-17, lost to No. 11 Coe College 34-12, and wrapped up the afternoon with a 47-0 victory over Simpson and 42-7 win over Nebraska Wesleyan University.
Individually, nationally ranked No. 7
Clayton McDonough (157) and No. 4
Walter West (285) led the Norse with perfect 4-0 records. McDonough won two matches by fall and two by tech fall, and improved to 23-5 for the year. West won one match by fall and one by tech fall and is now 14-1.

Ben Strehlow (197). Kidd won two matches by fall and one by major decision while both McDonough and Strehlow won two matches by tech fall.
