NORTHFIELD, Minn. - The Luther men's cross country season kicked off at the St. Olaf Ole Opener on Friday.
Michel Heinrich was the top finisher for the Norse as the team finished third overall with 89 points on the 5k course.
Heinrich finished 18th recording 15 points with a time of 16:47.75. Completing the top-five included
Jack Bode (19th - 16pts - 16:47.78),
Kurt Lebakken (21st - 17 pts - 21:06.08),
Christian Montover (35th - 20pts - 17:17.58), and
Benjamin Gillikin (36th - 21pts - 17:17.77 ).
Rounding out the top-seven was
Jacob Bruns (37th - 17:17.79) and Garrett Seppanen (38th - 17:18.09).
