The Luther wrestling team finished the Gator 'Boots' Duals with a record of 4-0 following a come-from-behind victory over No. 19 Delaware Valley (PA).
After trailing 14-0 after the first four matches, the Norse ran the table, thanks to three tech falls and two major decisions en route to the 26-14 victory.
Clayton McDonough (157) got things started with a major decision (8-0). He was followed by back-to-back tech falls by
Bryce McDonough (165) and Braedon Hendel (174) that leveled the match at 14-14.
Elijah Mitchell (184) won by decision, followed by a tech fall by
Ben Strehlow (197) and a major decision victory by
Walter West (285).

The win gives Luther an overall record of 5-2. Delaware Valley fell to 4-6.
The Norse will return to action on Jan. 10-11, when they will compete at the NWCA Division III National Duals. The duals will be held at the UNI Dome, Cedar Falls, Iowa.
