Luther opened the 2024 Gator 'Boots' Duals with an impressive 53-4 victory over Muskingum University (OH) Luther is hosting the duals at Hendersonville High School located northeast of Nashville, Tenn.

Muskingum was open in four weight categories and Luther tallied four pins and a tech fall en route to the win.

Posting falls included Connor Kidd (133) at 0:25, Caden Schrage (141) at 1:11, and nationally ranked No. 6 Clayton McDonough at 1:37. Braeden Hendel (174) recorded a 17-1 tech fall.

Walter West (285), a 2024 All-American, returned to the mat for his fifth and final season and completed the match with a fall at 3:38.
