ROCK ISLAND, Ill. - Alyssa Blankenship finished 30th at the NCAA Division III Midwest Region Championship to earn All-Region honors for the first time in her career with a time of 22:47.5. As a team the Norse were 12th of 28 teams competing at Saukie Golf Course in the 6k event.
Behind Blankenship was
Sarah Schmidt (51st - 50 pts - 23:36.6),
Lucy Corbin (75th - 73 pts - 24:13.2),
Sarah Grams (103rd - 100 pts - 24:41.0), and
Mari Paulsen (104th - 101 pts - 24:41.4).
Also part of the top-seven was
Lindsey Moseley (126th - 25:09.7) and
Norah McDonald (146th - 26:12.8).
Corbin, Paulsen and Moseley set new personal bests.
