The Loras College Duhawks were red hot tonight in the Regents Center as they defeated Luther by a final of 91-43. The Duhawks never trailed and finished the night shooting 53% that included a 12-of-30 performance from behind the three-point line. Luther had a difficult night scoring connecting on 25 percent of its attempts.
Kailey Jones was the only Norse to reach double figures this evening. Jones had 16 points thanks to a 5-of-10 effort from the field and 6-of-7 from the free throw line. She also led all rebounders with eight.
Four Duhawks reached double digits led by Sami Martin who finished with 20.
The loss gives Luther an A-R-C record of 4-8, 7-14 overall. Loras improved to 9-3 in league play, 15-6 overall.
Luther wraps up its regular season home schedule this Saturday when it will host Central College at 2:00 p.m.
