Luther and Minnesota State-Mankato kicked off the 2021 fall schedule in Decorah. Originally, the College of St. Benedict was scheduled to play a triangular, but scheduling conflicts forced St. Ben's to cancel. The Norse and Mavericks decided to split their squads and play two official matches.
In match one, the Mavericks defeated the Norse 6-3. Anne Olimpio (6-1, 6-4) and
Bruna Costa (6-3, 6-3) posted straight set victories in singles. Olimpio and Emily Rubbelka posted the lone victory in doubles (8-1).

In match two, Luther rolled to an 8-1 victory. The Norse swept doubles play and won five of six matches in singles en route to the victory.
In doubles,
Bruna Costa and
Kiley Nolan won a tie-breaker 8-7 (7-5) at No. 1.
Jessica Dahl and
Riley O'Donnell posted an (8-)1 victory at No. 2, and
Jalen DenHartog and
Megan Grimm won at No. 3 (8-2).
In singles, Nolan posted a three-set win at No. 1 (4-6, 6-2, 10-7);
Renata Martinez won at No. 2 (6-0, 6-1); O'Donnell won at No. 3 (6-1, 6-0);
Lexi Hastings won at No. 5 (6-0, 6-2) and
Cassandra Magee won at No. 6 (6-0, 6-0).
