ST. PETER, Minn. – The Luther women's tennis team competed at the ITA Midwest Regional Championship hosted by Gustavus Adolphus College at the Wilkinson Tennis Complex Friday, Sept. 25 through Saturday, Sept. 26. No team scores were kept.

In doubles, Allie Christensen and Lena Lichau reached the quarterfinals finishing with a 3-1 record. The two defeated Mary Breitbach and Brooke Burger of Loras College (8-2), Sanne Ijpma and Mailani Ramos-Platt of Grinnell College (8-3) and Natasa Pupovac and Kate Trifilio of Carroll University (WI) (8-3). In the quarterfinals they lost to Lanie Davis and Ella DeYoung of Gustavus Adolphus College (8-3).

Up next, Luther faces Ripon College on Tuesday, Oct. 6 at 4 p.m. in Ripon, Wis.
