Luther's seven game win streak was snapped in today's first game of the twin bill against Simpson College. The Storm defeated the Norse 3-1 in game three of this four-game series.

Luther held a 1-0 lead after four. Simpson scored a run in the fifth and two in the sixth to secure the come-from-behind victory. Storm pitcher Brady Held allowed just four hits, walked three and struck out nine, while improving his season record on the mound to (3-3).

Luke Plunkett drove in Luther's lone run of the ball game with a double to left center field that scored Peyton Lindmark who reached base on a two-out walk.

The loss gives Luther an A-R-C record of 19-4, 23-8 overall. Simpson improved to 8-15 in league play, 11-18 overall.
