Luther scored three runs in the final three innings of game one of this American Rivers Conference double header at Simpson and secured a 7-4 victory.

Trailing 4-1 entering the seventh, Abby Spore drove in two runs with a double to left center field. Emily Versnik sent the game into extra frames with an rbi single to left field. Elsa Skeie hit what proved to be the game winner, a three-run shot in the top of the ninth.

Spore, Skeie and Kyal Heydt were all 3-for-5, while Emily Fell went 4-for-4. The Norse tallied 15 hits in this game.

Kendra Cooper went the distance in the circle and is now 11-5. Cooper faced 42 batters, allowed four runs on eight hits, walked two and struck out nine.

The win gives Luther an A-R-C record of 10-9, 21-12 overall. Simpson fell to 9-10 in the A-R-C, 12-15 overall.
