Luther and Coe wrapped up the regular season schedule this afternoon. The Kohawks won game one of the twin bill 8-2. Holding a slim 3-2 lead after six, Coe put five runs on the scoreboard in the seventh thanks to five hits. Luther scored a run in both the first and third frames. Luke Plunkett and Kelby Johnson were both credited with an rbi. Plunkett finished the game 2-for-4 and Joe McKibben also had a multiple hit game going 2-for-2 at the plate.

The loss gives Luther a league record of 23-8. Coe improved to 27-4.
