Luther stayed alive in Pod 1 of the American Rivers Conference Tournament defeating regular season champions and the No. 1 seed Coe College 5-0.
Kendra Cooper tossed a six-hit shutout en route to her 16th win of the year. Cooper faced 29 batters and walked two and struck out three.
The Norse tallied a run in the third, fifth and seventh innings and put a two on the board in the fourth.

Anna Forari all drove in a run. Skeie hit a solo shot in the fifth, her ninth of the year. Heydt and
Abby Spore were both 2-for-4.
Luther will now face No. 8 seed Buena Vista University and must defeat the Beavers twice to remain alive in the tournament.
