Luther fell to fifth place in the American Rivers Conference with a record of 7-7, following an 8-2 loss to Nebraska Wesleyan University. This was the first game of a three game series in Lincoln.
The Prairie Wolves, who had 11 hits, scored in every inning but two, posting two runs in the first, one each in the second and third and four in the sixth. Seven of the eight runs were earned.

Abby Spore drove in the final run on a ground out to second that scored Heydt.
Luther is now 18-10 overall. Nebraska Wesleyan improved to 7-6 in league play, 9-12 overall.
