Box Score Luther defeated Nebraska Wesleyan 5-3 in the today's second game of this American Rivers Conference double header. Elsa Skeie hit a three-run home run in the first and Kyal Heydt hit a two-run single in the third. Luther finished the nightcap with eight hits. Emily Fell, Sydeney Schutlz led the attack with two hits each.

Samantha Thompson went the distance in the circle. She allowed three runs on seven hits, walked one and struck out four.

The win gives Luther an A-R-C record of 8-7, 19-10 overall NWU fell to 7-7, 9-13 overall.

These two teams will wrap up this three-game series tomorrow.
