Luther scored in every inning but one and rolled to an 8-0 victory over Buena Vista in five inning,s in what was the first of a double header this afternoon.

The Norse jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the bottom of the fourth. Sydney Schultz drove in Morgan Hogenson who led-off with a single to left field, with a double to left center. Three batters later, Kyal Heydt hit a three-run home run over the left field trees.

Schultz drove in her second and final rbi of the game with another double in the second frame, this time to right center field, that scored Katie Brennan who led-off the inning with a walk. Abby Spore and Brennan both drove in runs in the third, and Brennan drove in the eighth and final run with a sacrifice fly to center field in the fifth.

Sam Thompson (7-0) faced 18 batters, allowed four hits, did not issue a walk and struck out one to pick up the win in the circle.

The win improved Luther's A-R-C record to 6-6, while BVU Fell to 5-6.
